The Rita Project & Brighton Bricks is pleased to announce a series of workshop designed for creative conversationalists who want to make a difference in their community.
Brighton Bricks will be challenging you to some Lego tasks, all about exploring your creatively but more importantly about having fun, learning the joy of the plastic brick and the many things it can do.
Throughout the evening The Rita Project will be opening the conversations to explore; Why is it so tricky to talk about Domestic Abuse? How can we create strong communities that challenge abusive behaviour? What can we do to support those affected?
The evening is designed to encourage creative approaches to barriers, encourage positive conversations about hard to discuss subjects and ensure that nobody feels stuck in a situation they don’t want to be in.
The workshops are funded by The Allen Lane Foundation & are designed to raise awareness at a community level, Domestic Abuse can have a profound and long lasting impact on society & we want to nip that in the bud.
